I know you got my request to add 2 yellow clown gobies to my order...I paid using my PayPal account. The gobies have not been added for payment. The last time this happened it held up my order. What can I do to ensure my order will be processed and sent out Monday for me to receive it on Tuesday? LOL..If it is painless enough I may add one more thing to the list so please advise ASAP

Flower, it's simple call them. They don't really monitor this as part of their business (ordering/shipping) practices. If you only post it here you will not ensure your order is correct.
Call them and speak to someone Monday morning. They have always been very accomodating. I once placed an order and the day my order was supposed to ship was called out of town for a family emergency. I called rather late in the day which was pushing it and they held off shipping my order until I called back to advise them of a good date. They offered to cancel the order but I wanted the items and asked for a hold.
People keep posting things here that are rather urgent, as with any business, nothing beats picking up the phone and speaking to a real person.

Call or email them dierctly. This forum is not a good place to deal with individual orders.

I have seen allot of negative on this little section..from me too.
My order arrived today. It was a large order and I want to say..everything is healthy and doing great. Not 1 dead snail out of the 65 I ordered. The fan worms were out when I removed them from the bag. The clown gobies are not even hiding and already ate. The leather corals are a good size on a good chunk of rock, they are not open yet, but look healthy so far.
I think you guys did great, and I wanted to give you public Kudos.

Happy to hear that your order arrived ok. Questions
how many heat packs?
Were they still warm when opening the package?
What time did FedEx drop it off?
Was the water warm in the bags?
Did all the snails have water in their bags?

LOL....I know where you are going. I order online all the time, not only from SWF. I seldom buy at the LFS. Of all the online stores, I check with SWF first and often just wait on stuff to be in stock. I haven't found a better online store.
.2 heat packs and they were still warm. I think it was around 11:30am and I met the FedX delivery lady at my door to bring it in.
No, the bags were not warm but not overly cold either.
Snails and crabs are shipped without water or very little water. That has always been the way they are shipped from anyplace. I just temp acclimate and dump them in.
I was overjoyed to see all 5 shrimp made it, they are so delicate.
I have had very few DOA. Most of my complaint was with critters that die within a day or so. Like the tree sponge. SWF has always made good on them but it frustrates me. I have not found a better place to order from. SWF does not have the variety other online places do, but I can count on my order taking only one day.
We have been using the forum "ask SWF" for a sounding board when we are unhappy...They really deserve a pat on the back for all the good stuff they do as well. I'm very happy with my order and I want them and any new folks reading these posts to know it.

I think this is the reason as to why my items perrished and yours survived. I had only 1 heat pack and it was cold when I opened the box. I didnt get my box until 12:30 i believe. Honestly, I think it was a combination of things that all went wrong for me. I dont knock SWF.com one bit. The items I got were all great, if they all lived. I will be ordering from here again, just going to wait until it stops getting below 40 over night. I think the problem was the cold when the box landed in town and then spend almost 8 hours in the cold with a heat pack that wasnt working to its fullest extent.

I know...what a shame. I posted the good post so new comers can see SWF is really a great place to order from. We know what goes on in the forum and we understand, but a new person may not. We have been posting nothing but negative feedback, some folks have even said they won't order online. I lived in Wisconsin and in the dead of winter I have ordered and had no loses.
Actually I think it's easier to regulate warmth with heat packs than keep critters cool shipping in the summer time. Some spots they pass through get into the 100s.
