after readin a post about overflow boxes loosin prime i got worried i have protected myself from siphon back from pump side if i have a power loss but not siphon loss do they make a low water safty that u plug pump into that floats in sump??? <img src="graemlins//confused.gif" border="0" alt="[confused]" />

i drilled a small hole in my siphon tube so when the water level drops too low air enters and breaks the siphon. i use it on my reef and my 240 fish only and it has saved me several times when we had power problems here.

thanks i will start lookin for a float switch thanks when it comes to flooding i think better safe than sorry i hope they make one u just plug pump into would be easy but if not i can wire and can do thanks for reply guys

or install a flapped check valve... either or will work
