It all depends on equipment, local cost and how full you want it. It could be anywhere from $400 to thousands here is a pic of mine. I think corals and fish here in Madison Wis are alot more than other places but not the most expensive around. If I had to guess I would say this one was about $1200 to $1600. I know some people with 125g tanks that they have spent well over $4000 others $1000.
By the way this tank is a 75g

DON't think about the price. Price is NOT an issue. Price will depress you, if you hafta ask it's probably to much. You just kinda dive in and DON'T LOOK BACK!! No, seriously, once I tried to tally up my total and I kinda got depressed, so I wont ever do that again!! But I LOVE MY TANK!!

At least $1,500 for a 55 with corals. Probably more than that but if someone told me they did it for less than that I would think they were lying.

My 100g that only has two Banggai cardinals (which I got for free), a single rock with zoanthids, and a cleanup crew has cost me upwards of $2,000 so far. That's been spread out over several months, but it's not a cheap hobby. You can definitely set up a tank for less, but my (not-too-experienced) opinion is that saving money on the setup is likely to cost money and/or gray hair in the long run.
