i am having fish trobles

i currently own a eel and a trigger(getting rid of the trigger on thursday) but i did own a rainbow wrasse up untill today. i went to clean the tank and he normaly is flying in and out of the rocks waiting for me to leave. well today i didn't see him. so i went looking for him(scared the crap out of my eel/ trig but did not find him. or a carcase or anything. anyone think the eel ate him(he didn't eat today when i offered him food)? or do you think he just jumped ship? and i plan on getting a pair of springers dottybacks on thursday do you think they will be ok with the eel? or should i get rid of him as well as the trig? any advice appriciated.

I don't think that a golden tail would have eaten your wrasse. Maybe the wrasse was already passed, and he ate the remains. Normally golden tails are not that aggressive.

Also don't forget to check the overflow box. A buddy of mine was missing a hippo tang for about 3 weeks, and found him one day in the overflow.
