What should i do for green coralline algae?
coralline algae is a very good thing to have. It comes in purple, red, pink, green, orange etc. But the most common is purple, then red and green.

if you could post a picture of it i would be able to tell if it is coralline or not. it is really hard (like a rock) and it is not fuzzy at all, nice and smooth and will cover your rocks. Just look at peoples tank in the photography section and if you see purple rocks thats what the purple is. (the purple is the most dominant of coralline algae usually and will take over the other colors) You may also see peoples tanks with purple circles or purple walls in their tank like on the sides or back, this is coralline algae, i prefer to not have this algae on the walls so i clean my walls and if i ever see it i scrape it off.

If you find out it is algae then I would recommend Mexican Turbo Snails. In my own experience they are like lawnmowers and they just plow through the algae on the rocks. They are pretty big and really do a great job so you dont want to have to many in a tank. I would say with your tank to just start off with 2 and see how they do. hope this helps, good luck!
