i am preforming hypo in dt...

I'm considering doing the same to my DT, but I'm nervous that I won't be able to maintain safe water conditions for the 2 fish that remain during the hypo.
I mean ....if Live rock is so important, won't the water go crazy/bad once I remove it? I guess I could remove the rock and the fish and place them in separate tanks, but I'm limited on space for all these tanks, not to mention the additonal equipment I will need to purchase.
Any how if you don't mind posting your progress/trials/tribulations, I would really appreciate the info.
I'm not 100% certain I have ick so I'm starting a QT while I watch for a few days.

well so far so good. the ick is almost all gone. i havent been running a filter, just powerheads because im waiting for my silicon to dry on my fuge that im making since im switching to reef and dont want to use my diy wetdry. before i started hypo i had trates of 20-30. since i removed so much water from my 90g while dripping in ro water for 48 hours, the trates dropped down to 5. all my other levels are zero. i should have my filtration up and running in another day or 2. i think this is the best way to do hypo because im getting rid of all the ick off all my rocks, inverts, and fish and i dont have to have my dt fishless for 6 weeks......
