Welcome to the boards!! Kick ich is a product designed to help keep ich off of the fish. It does not kill ich though. No medication can kill one invert (ich is an invert) and not kill others such as your shrimp, stars, etc. The product is alright at keeping ich under conrtol, but will not eliminate it from your tank. Do you want to try to control ich or would you like to kill it? If you are just looking for control then you will have to be sure that your fish are as stress free as possible. This includes making sure that the water parameters are optimal, there is no fighting/chasing going on with your fish and feed them a very high quality diet dosed with a rotation of Zoecon, vitachem, and fresh garlic. Continue to use the kick ich as well. All of this may or may not help your fish fight off the parasites.
If you would like to kill the ich then we can help you with that as well. We will need to know what livestock, including any inverts and live rock, are in the tank and if you have a quarantine tank set up or not.

i have 2 clowns vanti pufffer 2 yellow , 1 yellow tip, 4 dimonno dansils the last three are all dansils....i had a flame angel and yellow angel but both died on the four day.. a coral banded and a cleaner shrimp.. hermits.. live rock 1 purpule tiped anmone an 1 purpple ercent.. i would like to get rid of the problem i can set up a nother tank i have a nother 55 gl and a 20 galllon plz help

Beth has a great thread about setting up a QT and treating Ich in the archived section at the top of this forum. IMHO it would be best to read up on that first, then ask any specific questions about something that you do not understand.

+1 The article about how to treat ich is very informative and will get you going and at least ease your mind that is this is a treatable, although very irritating problem. Just be patient and do things right the first time and you should be on your way to a healthy tank in no time at all.

tomorrow will be day 10 for my kick ich treament.. i have seen the you tube videos and it had it startting out with a 10 gallon water change the LOCAL SALTWATER FISH STORE didnt telll me that and there isnt much info.. on the bottle so i didnt do that but i have only lost two fish.. the rest look good and i was wondering if i could use garlic power with the flake and the brin shrimp cubes.. or if i had to buy the stuff for them store.. i just lost my job so money is tight.. what great time for that.. when treament is up do i go head an put back in carbon filters?? and water change? thankz
