My wife is in Irving, Tx on company business and my daughter just let me know she's el preggo and forbade me to tell her until she gets back. Her husband goes to boot camp next month and then to a 4 month AIT, so she's planning on being with us when she gives birth around late June. Anyway, just thought I'd share that my little girl is going to be a mom. I am surprised, but since she got married last Christmas Eve, I don't know why. 43 and I'm going to be a grandpa, ain't it grand?

She's a quality manager for a BPO called Aegis that's headquartered there. They were going to have her move there, but then decided she could fly 6 or 8 times a year and let her stay here in Az. My daughter has me worried, though. She is 6' tall and only weighs 125#. I told her she's going to have to start eating if she wants the baby to weigh more than 2#.

6 foot wow.my wife is 5' 8 and 120.and she is skinny.125 is too light for her height.i am sure the doctor will have her eating .yea you couldnt give me a free house in irving.80% mexicans that dont speak english there.not that it bothers me i started learning spanish as soon as i moved here.but there are way too many people in that area.although it is center to fort worth and dallas.
how old is your daughter? if she is that slim i assume she is young still.

20 y/o. Unfortunately she doesn't get military medical benefits until a few weeks after her husband starts boot camp in mid-January.

I don't think they can in the Army medical system. I've told her to start pumping riboflavin and folic acid. As I understand it from when my wife was preggo, that helps eliminate birth defects.

They will not pull the Pre Exsiting on her there are 2 things that are Exempt from that automatically one is Pregnancy the other is IIRC from my brother is anything having to do with Kids at all. My Brother who adopted 2 of my other Brothers kids long story there not going there well lets just say he had coverage for them the second he got custody of them ON PAPER.

My wife will be happy once the baby's here, but will get all mopey and depressed that she a "grandma". I think it's pretty cool, though. We had our kids young so now we can be young when the kids are having kids. My son-in-law is jazzed. It just doesn't seem like 23 years ago we had our first.
