I dont think you guys understand rust in maine. no junkyard around had a servicable part. only two junkyards local I could find had the car and they looked at the arm and said you really dont want it.
we have long salty winters. maine roads pretty much eat cars from the bottom up.

i feel you. i live in jersey and its kinda the same. if its not for the salt from the beach, its the salt from those damn salt trucks.
but really, a lot of junk yards are linked to a network of other yards, and they can usually get parts from other states. i know its too late now, but now you know, and knowing is half the battle!

Do a search online and you will find the part. There are salvage yard search engines that find what you need. The yard will cotact you with the price and shipping cost. My wife's control arm came from NY.

Junk yards are a waste of time here. We went looking for a rear end for a 3/4 ton chevy. And they wanted 2 grand for it. I'm not kidding. Not rebuild or anything. So I ordered it from Orielly Auto for 1/3 of that. And when I went for stuff for my jeep, I never found one part. And I went there numerous times.
