it was from a friend that help me set up the tank, he came by yesterday cuz my waterflow was bugging him and he fixed it for me and brought me the pretty little guy. i asked him if it was to soon to add it and he said it should be fine, so i hope so!!!

looks good, I'd hate to have to buy LR for a tank that big, how many pounds did you end up getting, is that base rock from ---- from that guy selling haiwaii base rock, I have 60lb of it waiting for my new tank, I finished building my new stand and ordered my Oceanic 75 show series tank so I finally get to set it up soon, what kind of fish do you have in there so far, I thought I saw a blue damsel

yea VHO 3 white 3 blue with 3- 660 ballasts, i've been told (and others will disagree) that under the lighting i have i can grow any coral/clam and this is coming from other peoples personal experience.
right now the macro alage is cool, but yea i know what your saying, i might have to do some trimming if it gets in the way or if nobody eats it. so cool once you get it set up and see new stuff everyday, gonna be a great hobby!!!!
keep me posted w/pics of yours too!!! and GL! :)

With your lighting you could try a squamosa clam in the mid to upper levels. I wouldn't test the limits of keeping any kind of other clam IMO.
Good luck
