Anybody know what the red tube is? I've noticed it's grown alot since I first found it. It looks like there is something in the tube. The blue circle is a tiny feather duster. (Anybody know how big they get?)

Sorry i cant make out whats in the picture but, the featherdusters on rocks wont get too big, they will stay small, but if you buy a feather duster that is just the tu
at your LFS they will get larger.

Does the red tube excrete streamers of mucus? It may be a vermitid snail. Nothing to worry about, although the mucus can be an eyesore. Feather dusters come in many sizes, but the ones I have that are living inside the lr never get very big, maybe 1 cm across.

I've never seen it excrete anything. I've just seen something white inside that retracts when I get close. There's actually two of them (They're on a snail shell). Sorry about the bad picture.
