I did my First Water Change Tonight!

I just did my 3 gal water change for my 26 gal tank...i know that it's only been a few minutes but everything looks ok so far...i'm going to check in on my tank periodically and maybe an hour from now i'll test it and let everyone know...

if the salt in the new water was well dissolved, and the new water had the same salinity and ph as the tank water, you should have no problems whatsoever. give it time, water changes will become more of a dreaded chore than a milestone.

i know...the water change was a hassle 8 months ago when i last did them...but i needed to start them again since i let my tank go...
its been an hour now and my tank has turned my water over 26 times...
sg- 1.022-1.023 (raising it to 1.024-1.025)
pH- 8.2
am- 0
trites- 0
trates- 0-5.0 (but looking more towards 0
this looks good to me!

THANKS! now all i need to do i replace my old bulbs and then im finished bringing the tank back to life...then all i'll have to do is keep it that way!

water changes are no prob for me. I just dump some ro/di water in my 15 gall tank with a powerhead in it and add salt. I dont get the salinity exactly the same either, i just get it within .002 of what it is
