Once in a while I do something stupid and this is one of those times..
here it goes.
I got 35g water change 2 nights ago as maintenance. I have a automatic pellet feeder for my mccosker wrasse for the day time and I feed them night time.
I took out the feeder and after the maintenance I was about to put it back then I noticed that pellets had fallen on the desk because time had passed for the schedule feeding time.
I opened the hatch to put the food in then I got distracted and helped my buddy out with something.
I put it back on my tank.
fast forward 24 hours.
Last night, I went to feed my tank around 9:40 ish and i notice crap load of pellets on the left side of the tank and little bit towards the middle. Oh oh. I check the feeder and lo and behold, I pulled an Homer. D'OH! I do a quick vacuuming on the left and the middle did like 3gal water change and quickly started to make more water.
I sit down trying to relax and kicking myself for being so dumb then about 30 mins of watching tv something hits me... did I check the right hand side just in case?
I run over there around 11pm and notice about 100 pellets on the floor. D'OH!!! I panicked then started to vacuum that section moving my clam and corals out of the way and vacuuming what I can and did a five gallon water change.
Now I'm at work and I'm worried that there will be an ammonia spike, putting that huge 35g to waste, I made another 10g to change my buddy who does my system offered but he wakes up 4am and I didn't have a heart to ask him to come help me until 12am. sigh...
I hope all is well. Heading home in 2 hours.

I think so. One thing that I did to a place where I can't get to was to place my starfish on top of it. He didn't move for an hour hahaha.
