Ok - I haven't gotten the new tank yet, but I am looking.
What is a good size tank that I could have a blue hippo and a yellow tang with a coral beauty maybe (not sure about which angel I want yet). Besides you know the ultimate like 4000 gallon :hilarious

Will these fish be good together?
I currently have a 29 gallon reef and we are "shopping" for a good used 100+ gallon tank. So I just want to make sure I get the tank big enough.
Also I want to make sure these fish are good in a REEF environment.
I am just making my list so that we know exactly what we are getting when the time is right.

All those fish will be fine together. I would introduce them at the same time though.
As for tank size, i would go with at least a 120g.

Cool - thanks. I just want to make sure I am shopping for the right size. We know we want 100+, but wasn't sure exactly how big. I was thinking 120. I found someone who has a 105, so I was looking to see what size you guys would say.

I have a single yellow in with a few other fish in a 125 . I plan on moving him in the future to a 400+ tank.

Why add them all at the same time? Will they pick on one another if they aren't added together? Boy I need to check on that and pricing. I don't know if I could get 3 fish at once...LOL

I think you are supposed to add them at the same time so that they don't already have a "teritory" and try to exert dominance. My brother added his at different times and it worked out fine, but the 120 provides ample room for them to get away from one another.

120 is a great tank... 2 feet high, 2 feet from front to back and 4 feet long... perfect size IMO!
That is what my next tank will be.

OK question - I found someone with a 100 gallon. He wants to get rid of the whole set up. He has 2 eels, lionfish, powder blue tang and a yellow tang.
I know nothing about eels or lionfish. I know my husband would like to have a lion. However, you all know from above what I want. I currently have a tail spot blenny, 2 clowns and 2 firefish. Would these guys be ok with eels and a lion???

just about anything that will fit into teh lions mouth will be lunch.... count on that. What kind of lion is it??

My current tank is a 70. 2 feet high 18" front to back and 3 feet long.
The eels and lion would eat your fish... you could always drop them off at the LFS, but I wouldn't pay for them... the tangs would be ok.
