i finaly got one

i got my first cleaner shrimp

i love him sry i dont have a pic
his/her name is red and red is pregnent! (didnt know until i got him/her)
i plan on getting one more

Very kewl addition...I keep a few different types of shrimp myself. Don't plan on keeping the babies...they rarely ever survive long. But the contribute to the food chain.
Here is a pic of my recent additions....some really small sexy shrimp....to go along with my pair of skunks...pair of blood reds...and 5 peppermints...

i love my cleaner shrimp. you can tell they are pregnant, because they have greenish eggs under their tail. here is mine hanging out on the sponge for my powerhead

jacknjill what did you use to put over your powerhead? just a piece of foam? mine suck sand up in them and im thinking tht wont be good for inhabitants in my tank

its just like some kind of sponge that it came with. it fits over the part where the water is sucked in

its just like a little fitler its suppose to catch any debris i think just like a lil filter i guess, if that make sense
