Funny story - I was at my LFS looking at how some were constructed - discussing it with my wife - as you can imagine I received dirty looks from the hired help there.

Hi pal... I thought out the design in my head and kinda went ahead and just did it... It is all pine... The frame is 2x4's sent through a sanding machine to clean them up.... The rest is just made up from scraps that I milled up with the jointer and planer... I can send a close up of the front of the cabinet if you want to see more detail... Here is a shot of the rear... I can't really show you the whole thing till its done and that might just be tomorrow anyway...
I'm anxious... I just have to put 2 more coats of poly on the hood... Here you go for now partner... If you need any thing else let me know.. Oh yeah... I used 1" brads on the pine and drywall screws and deck screws on the frame... Peace out...
