Every time it got cold, my van would make those funny noises when I turned a corner.
So I checked the power steering levels and they were always fine. So today just for fun, I pulled all the fluid out of the ( (not master cylinder) reservoir with a medicine syringe and replaced it with new.
No more noise! I feel like I got a new van!!

ok, I edited for correction

Not to burst your bubble, but what does popping when you turn have to do with a master cylinder? All that is, is the reservoir system for when you depress your brakes it pushes out the pads to squeeze the rotors.

Yeah I have had similar problems with an older car there is a plastic sort of covering that connects the tire to the boot(i think thats what its called) if the cover has damage or a rip in it it could be your boot breaking down then you axle will go so its worth checking I saved a bunch because I caught it before my axle went.

Geez Mia, nothing like a little optimism. No I didn't mask it, I'm thinking after one hundred and fifteen thousand miles, the integrity of the viscosity has been compromised.
Sho, you are to easy. Had I known a simple syringe would set you off, I may have over estimated your fience... Kidding, kidding!

Viscosity isn't what brake fluid is used for... Besides surely you've changed your brakes in 100k. It is a hydrolic system.

forget brakes. Forget I said master cylinder.
New power steering fluid to replace the old. That's it.

No animosity meant and nothing but optimism
, BUT I used to have a 1987 Dodge Ram van and the transmission used to slip so I used to add transmission fluid thinking I was fixing it but it end up I had a leaking gasket.

my levels were always fine, so I thought maybe the pump was going out. But the actual steering was fine. Just that noise. So I hope this is it.
