I was just kidding about the lawyer/suing part, but yes...I would contact the lfs in SoCal that you got it from and say something about it. At the very least, this says something about the co. who collected this stuff. Although it may not be filtered perfect, I wouldn't expect this.

Yeah I cant see even if they got this from the beach they should at least filter it. If a piece of glass get through says alot about the filter.
And bpro32 do you work for the company and that why you are offering frags to shut him up. If so I will throw a broken beer bottle in my tank for free frags lol just kidding no pun intented unless of course you are givig away free frags lol
