I found some strange hitch hikers in the live rock

There are these little centipede looking creatures with antennas and a curved back. They seem to be coming out from the holes in my live rock. I just bought ten ponds today and now there coming out from everywhere. What are these things and do I have anything to worry about?:notsure:

My first guess is a bristle worm. You gotta so a search for a pic that's already been posted.

That is an amphipod in the first pics I looked at, (didn't scroll all the way to the bottum though).
Amphipods are beneficial filter feeders and a sign of a healthy tank.

My tank is only a week and a half old. I'm happy to know that everything seems like it is going well.

Can amphipods be harmful in a reef environment?

Nope...every reef has them. Sometimes you'll see a million, sometimes it'll seem l;ike you can't find any, but they are always there...watching...waiting...OK got carried away there, sorry.
