you want a loud bird??? my parents have two parrots, a umbrella cockatoo and an african gray... at dawn and dusk they SCREAM bloody murder for about 2 hours straight. you can literally hear them from all the way down the street. it feels like drilling holes in your head.

Think they are loud? Try Pink Moluccans. When they scream you can't hear yourself think while in the next room, and I mean that literally.

Cockatiels are by no means the loudest birds (If you ever don't like someone - give them a conure!! ;) )
I would say Macaw's and Cockatoo's are about the loudest

Is that why they have a cage outside!!! haha just kidding. Those are beautiful birds.
I have been researching a whole lot, and am planning on buying seperate specific feeds, and making him a diet that is better than a premade mix. I have become extremely attached in just a few days, and have found that he LOVES being scratched on the heat!

I've got 2 tiels. Milo is a 2yr old normal gray male and a 3yr old female, Sunnie(sunshine)is a lutino. She is a sweet, smart girl and he is my little talker, singer. Doing a search on cockatiel cottage will lead you to wealth of info about tiels.
Here's a really bad picture of Sunny.

We have a yellow crowned Amazon. She/he knows more words than I can count, a few sentences, a few tricks. He only yells if he is left away from the party, so his wings are clipped so he can be outside with us. "Bird wanza party".....
I think he thinks he is a dog, though. This vid is old, and one of my first so forgive my spelling?

great looking Moluccans... i like your outside aviary too, i wish it was warm enough here to do that.
Thanks. It is 25' by 12' with about 10' covered. The Goffin (white one on my shoulder in avatar) is the character of them all. She is super fast on the flight and terrorizes them all. Never slows down for a minute.

Thanks! I do think it shows this birds attitude well!
Your birds are truly gorgeous. Do they get along OK? They look very happy together and very tame.
