Tiz, that tank looks terribly distressed and on the brink of ruin. I suppose you could dismantle everything and send the tank and inhabitants to me so I can see what I can do with them.

It's actually not a Valida, it is a efflorescence, if you are referring to the one with the clown goby. You can see the whole thng in the top left of my tank. In the earlier shot, it looks like a "dish", then it grew around the edges...
Best guess in the anemone is a BTA. A really big BTA that was not happy til I got some serious lights.

As far as the clowns, I really think that if they didn't each have their own host they woulda killed each other by now. The clarkii is extremely aggresive, but he never ventures into the oscellaris's frog. I got them both when I was very new to the hobby, and I (like so many others) didn't research first and I had no idea they would most likely not be compatable. I consider myself lucky but would never advise anybody to get mixed species because mine "tolerate" each other. They most certainly do not get along.
Dougai, tinmanny, beth, promisetbg, and fishieness
Thanks all for the compliments!!

wait..... i look again.... and is that a frog? It almost looks like one of those crosses between a hammer and a frog. Awsome none the less.

Do they have frog hammer crosses?? Cause if they do, that would explain a lot!! LOL. It is a frog, but it's like not like the usual frogs I see. It's like a frog on steroids. I see them often at the LFS so I don't think it's hard to find but it is unusual huh??

HEY!!! You have more "personalities" than Cybil!! LOL.
It's turning blue around the edges, just like you said it would. Glad to see your back! Even if it IS only 8 posts...

Is that the same stuff that can grow in a "scroll" shape? In any event, it is purdy as well!

Nice job on the tank, Tizzo!

Thanks all,
Farmboy, yeah that's one of the ones they call a sroll coral, unfortunately mine hasn't taken that shape and I am not sure if it ever will. So far all it's plates just go straight out and rounded none of the edges even so much as curl up. I do have a green one right behind the candy cane that has taken on a scroll shape but I am not sure what it is...
