i got a rbta for 10 bucks and it is under my paly rock ?

woyld it be possible for my rbta to eat a small tailspot blennies or a small mccoskers wrasse or a 2 in yellow watchman gobies

If it can get ahold of them it will try! Why did those disapear? I hope not, its cheaper to feed silversides :rotfl:

the gobies were 11 bucks when i got em . i want to feed him mysis for now them when he gets bigger krill, when 5to 6in then i will try chopping a silverside it to half it length and when its about 9 in i will feed it a whole silverside.but for now i will just do my best to help my rbta grow .

o itll prob eat a silverdale...its wat like 3in. I have 2 little strawberry anenomes in my tank. They came as hitchhikers. They eat mysis thats bigger than them! Watch itll be gone in like 10min tops!

Myisis is cool now, but imo you don't have to wait till 9in for silversides, 5in max for a smaller silverside, maybe even larger silver. You will know what it can handle, it will grab and release (for the most part) anything too big for it.

i just dont want it to yurn into monster size by the way the tank is a 45 gallon and i dont want it to suffocate my other coral

Understood, but as you should know from your fathers, they do split keeping their sized in "check", some what. My nem I feed once a month silverside, and the rest of the time it gets the astrea stars that are present in the tank, that I scrape off the glass into it.

i think mines trying to split i loord at it closey and i saw that it was being strecthed more than normal the tissue was stuck to a different rock and the foot looked strecthed more to i fed it yesterday. now right now my mhs burned out and dont have much $$$ i got my pcs out to keep the coral alive now i am looking for ho t5 or a new 175 watt halide.

mine rbta has a wierd yellow green pinkish on the tip of my rbta tentacles is that normal or odd.

My BTA spent about 10 months on the underside of a rock at the back of the tank where I couldn't get to him to feed him. He started out as a little more then two inches. Over those 10 months he shrank down to a little less then one inch. Today I finally broke down and flipped the rock he was attached to so that he's on top of it now. I had to break part of a Montipora Capricornis to do it. He hasn't moved at all yet. Hopefully he will stay there where he can get lots of light and food.
