I Got A Shark!!!! what do you think of my baby!!!

i know he needs sand so im going to fix that tonight!!! there is sand in half the tank now.
had to move the puffer to difrent tank bc he niped at him once!!
he is about a week old.

Looking good. Remember to give him lots of lights off time. Give him a hiding cave or a 6'' pvc pipe cut in half works good too. Feed squid/shrimp injected with selcon, most bamboos love it.

ok u people and ur sharks r thriving me to get a shark. What size tank do bamboo's need and what else could i put in with him?

sharks swim with their tummys often rubbing the sand/gravel he should have soft sand...fine sand? am i correct? then again what do i know.

YES! Replace that sand with really fine sand. If you can't find smaller grain than suger sized sand, than go w/ that. Your shark WILL cut himself on that rocky bottom and get infected. This is the most common mistake made by first time shark people. So, for the shark's welfare, please, get better sand.

i put sand in the day after i got him!!!! all is well have not seen him eat but the shrimp i put in there every night is gone in the morning so he must be eating!!! he did not move much at all with the cc in there but now that the sand is in there he moves a lot!!! and looks much happyer!!!
ill post some more pics later!!
