I don't see how responding to an e-mail from someone is harressment. Sure you could have just taken her rudeness and stopped but she could have done the same.
So what whould I do? I'd find a place to vent and move on.

Probably not the correct thing to do, I know where this guys is coming from! I absolutely positively hate unreasonable and irational people. That Email woudl have irritated me to no end.
When she shows up at your house pretend your Tony Soprano ...just for a second! LOL

it may have irritated you but would you have done the same thing?

If she asked the emails to stop, and they don't, one could argue this is textbook harassment.
It's a moot point. It never should have gotten to this level in the first place.

You guys can trash talk me all you want it does not bother me at all, after all I asked for your opinion. On the other hand I did not ask for hers and I will not stand for someone telling me I am wrong when I am not. For all the people that said they hope she has people come to my house and beats me with ball bats, I really would love to see that happen. I couldn't ask for a more interesting day. For all of the people that think I was wrong and wonder why I posted this, I apologize, I just thought it was interesting that some lady whom I never have met is going to press charges for replying to email that were sent to me. Keep in mind guys and girls, I only replied to the emails that were sent to me. For the person that wanted to know my age, I am 24. I am currently engaged to a lovely girl that thought this was the funniest thing shed seen in a long time. I guess were perfect for each other. Well you did hear from me after all huh. I think I have said enough. I in no way was trying to get smart with anyone on this thread so I hope you don't take it that way.
p.s. Please stop the hate. I didn't ask for it. I just asked what you would do. If you continue to do so I will be forced to charge you with harassment:)
I just noticed I went back on what I am said. Sorry I change my mind I no longer like the trash talk.

Awww heck, who knows.... In the right (wrong) frame of mind...perhaps.
She can file a harrassment suit all she wants, 2 emails aren't going to qualify as harrassment though. Thats nuts!!! There are too many lawyers in this world, some amataur ones seem to make it here every once in awhile...LOL.

If judges would allow that to be harrassment, what about all of the people who fight on here over something as foolish as tang size vs tank size??? How many times does that conversation get personal??? People are called names etc... Are you going to file charges on me because I think my DSB is better than your BB tank? LOL.... People should lighten up...
Having said that...prolly shouldn't sen anymore emails to the crazy person..Good Luck!

Dude let it go, who cares what a complete stranger thinks about you? Trust me she thinks a lot worse of you now than she did before this started. She has asked you twice to stop and you have not.

I think all people are trying to say is that the person is clearly a bit, uh, unstable maybe. Anyone who responds like that to me I would have to consider a bit unstable and I avoid such people with a 10 foot pole. They just may not behave rationally, and for her now to know your name and address could be a real problem for someone who may be obsessive and may "decide" you are harassing them.
If you have a fiance or wife or kids, this could really put them in danger. Remember, this really may not be a rational person. On the first indication you may not be dealing with a rational person, you should back off...your logical arguments or defense will not work and will only escalate it. Even a "hey sorry I meant no offense" email would escalate it. And it did...so giving her your address is just a VERY strange thing to do with a person this apparently unstable.
I think you and others are assuming a rational person- a person who would hire a lawyer. A person who wouldn't just show up and do something over an email. But if this is an unstable person, it wouldn't require that. It would require just the perception and the obsession to be rooted.
I truly hope you have no issues and in the future I would not even respond to her, not once. Who cares if she thought it was $65? Her original email should have been a "what the?!?!?" and a sign, IMO, to ignore her.
TRULY unreasonable and irrational people, be definition, will not be swayed by your logic, and your logic will make the situation worse.

your right mia,,, it was a misunderstanding,,he is only 24 years of age,, just getting a feel of life, this is how people live<___ and learn, about human nature,, we should not bash any one for for feeling certain feelings,
we should all take our own inventory,, and not any one elses,, for life is to short,,,,SO with love to all on this wonderful site of gathering interest,,i have learned the hard way

Come on, some times you just have to argue with someone. I call is the bored ruben effect. If you want a funny stupid person story.
When I was a freshman in college I had this on my answering machine. What do you call a guy with no arms or legs floating down a river? BOB, Bob didn't leave a message, don't be the next bob.
Well anyway, I was applying for jobs, and forgot to take it off my answering machine. One of the guys was named bob. I got a call from bob at the police station, Crying in fear, thinking that ment him. He couldn't believe that it was a joke, never heard of such horrible humor. And was terrified that I was gunning for him. So to mak matters worse, I said so I guess that means that you dont' want to hire me.
He said he "filed" a police report.
It was pretty dang funny. I called the police later that day, and we had a good laugh about it. They said, that was one of the stranger things they had had in a while. And didn't really file the report. But I guess no more what do you call a guy with no arms and legs jokes.
