I have one in my tank, and I dunno the name of it,
but funny thing is,
my star only has 4 legs :) wonder why!! or probly is a different kind, I dunno,

Is yours filter feeder? Mine sure is filter feeder,
never seen him eat anything, evey I fed him, he's like doing nothing.

he just crawl around and eats god knows what...LOL he filter feeds on the rocks but hasnt bothered any coral unless he is just crawling over it.. he is totally reef safe and i dont think i couldve chosen better...he has got about 250 lbs of live rock to chew on so hes been happy for about 6 months now...

why thanks its been going for a long time and is very established...Im very happy with it...Im working on finishing the coral and will take more pics tonight of some of the other cool stuff i have in it...

had to take some more pics as some of the fish come out of hiding i will try to snap a pic as they dont wanna come out especially my mystery wrasse...hes very camera shy...That top mushroom is closing in on 20 inches width...its getting huge but my maroon clownfish calls it home even though there is a sebae right behind it... Usually i can get a pic of the dragonets doing a mating dance but not lately...

Did some of these guys come from Aquatic Visions up your way? I've thought about checking them out but I never knew if it would be worth it. Looks Great!!

love that tube anemone against the black backdrop, get some more of that...looks like a dream...or...something....i dont know, but it looks cool!

Yes i work at aquatic visions on the weekends to pay for my habit! They are great come look for me when your there. They are an import/exporter and ship about 7500 peppermint shrimp a day...their stock is constantly changing due to being a "collection station" so there is always something new...
