Has anyone ordered from "Dave's reef pure" before?
I ordered some lights from him and he screwed me for a couple hunderd dollars. Stay away from that guy. He is a scam artist!!! <img src="graemlins//yell.gif" border="0" alt="[yell]" /> <img src="graemlins//yell.gif" border="0" alt="[yell]" /> :mad:

He took me for over $200 and there is not much I can do about it. What a nice way to make a living!
He lives in Florida an dIm in Pennsylvania. Kinda hard to pay him a visit. and hardly worth going to court over. Would cost more than I've lost already and probably take years from my life in just the hassle alone.

sorry to hear about yer troubles. have you tried writing or calling the Better Business Bureau in Florida? They might not be able to get you instant results, but I am sure they'll keep a closer eye on this guy. Maybe to point where they shut him down. You would be helping your fellow hobbist out! ;)
Don't put up with that kind of sh*t, dude! Something needs to be done cause he's probably laughing it up, him and his 2 Ben Franklins!

If you paid by credit card, dispute the charges by calling you credit card company and filing a dispute. Most credit card companies will be on your side if thing are not correct.

I have ordered from GARF. They're not only legitimate, they're extremely helpful. I had some questions about what I was ordering and they called me at home at night to answer them.....before I placed the order!!!

I've orderd from GARF. that grunge stuff is cool, it will clowd your tank for a few days but after it clears, you get an awesome looking substrate!

Hes already shut down the web site I ordered from. Im sure he will pop back up sooner or later. I feel bad for the next person he screws. Im sure its a matter of time. Wish I could do more but the effort is hardly worth the results.

Just spread the word guys, his name is David Visovatti and hes a scum bag. do not order anything from him. And (a hard lesson learned) never never NEVER EVER order anything without a credit card. its money in the toilet. <img src="graemlins//yell.gif" border="0" alt="[yell]" /> :mad:

Dispute the charge on the credit card period. If you are even slightly on the side of 'right' then he won't get your money. If you sent a check, then you don't get to do much but call the Better Business Bur. of Florida.
Dispute the charge, that will get his attention.

The following is public information listed on the www under a seach in Ask Jeeves for David Visovatti. It turned up a website about RO filters and aquariums.
Dave Visovatti, born in Milwaukee, WI in 1963 and moved to Winter Park, Florida. Contact #407-862-3255 and fax 407-862-3390.
Perhaps you could contact this individual in an effort to resolve this issue.

Well I couldn't find any real estate owned by Dave
or David Visovatti.The only Visovatti I find with real estate in orange county which is where winterpark is located is a Nancy L.Visovatti.I am not sure if there is any relation.I got this information from the orange county appraisers home page.Hopefully the phone #'s will lead to something.

wow! Its great to see that some people actually do still care about others. I'll try to get a hold of the Better Business Bureau in Florida and see if they can help. Sorry to be so pessimistic but I think its a lost cause. I'll try anyway.

i checked my info a david visovatti had a car repo about 18 months ago dont know if it was same one it was 1994 vett from fl.
