Most expensive fish right now is my Mystery Wrasse.
On the 29 biocube since I started it in January 2007 probably close to $2,000 +-.
because I love this hobby!!!

What draws you to this hobby and keeps you involved in it?

The calming effect of gazing at the life in the tank. The incredible surprise of still finding something that I did not add to it even after two years. The interest I have in learning about the hobby. The people on the boards I belong to putting me on the spot in threads that ask me to think about things like hard boiled eggs and tuna sandwiches.

My kids when they were teens. We were fooling around in a rental car on vacation in Fort Lauderdale. My son had on some hip hop station. I was driving and to get to them I leaned the seat way back, grabbed my son's hat and put it on backwards and cranked the radio and bass up full blast. They started calling me Spanko then instead of dad. Don't know what it means for sure, have asked them and they feign ignorance, but I have a feeling there is some "underworld" meaning to it. Oh well makes them happy!

You are a teacher sir, one could ask the same of you. I enjoy the hobby, and like to see others getting into it. IMO this board is not just a site to go and be with all of you my friends, but also to help the new people get into it.
Do not, here let me repeat that, DO NOT invoke the name of Joe!! Kind of like saying Beetlejuice three times!! Outlandishness ensues!!!!!!

HAHA!!! Funny that should be brought up. My question was going to be, "Do you REALLY understand Joe's explanations?"

Over the years I have accumulated different sites that have smilies and gifs and bookmarked them. If I don't have one that fits the moment well.....
