yea I hear ya. Im shure your right so 3x 175w mh will work for sps and clams?

For the lower light clams and SPS. Moti cap,monti pora (i think), squammosa clams. I would go with 2 MH. U dont want a hard core SPS tank right? So u put MH on the outsides. U put ur lower light coral in the middle and ur high light coral right under the MH's on the left and right. Iam saying this assuming u have center brace that will get in the way of a third MH. If not then u probably should get a 3rd one.
