Newer pics would realy be helpful here. Maracyn 2 will not clear lymphocystis. Excellent water quality and a healhy diet loaded with vitmines will help. The medicaton will be counter productive if this is lymph.

Hi, I have used Melifix with a broad spectrum antibiotic called Furian 2 without any problems. I think the Furian 2 has a broader spectrum than the Maracyn antibiotic and may be better since you don't know what type of bacteria is causing the infection. If you are only going to use one or the other then try the antibiotic first as the Melafix is a mild botanical with some antibacterial properties that aid in healing but are not as strong to fight a bacterial infection as an actual antibiotic like the two mentioned. I like using the Melafix and the antibiotics together. Good luck, Lesley

update...well the clown seems to be doing much better. still not really swimming around...just kind of bobs in one spot, but it is eating well. The white clumps have not come back. Hopefully 100% recovery will be here soon as this fish is quickly becoming a favorite after all that has happened to it.

since knowone has even asked this yet, what are your water parameters.
Please tell us what is you PH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, s/g and alk at least.
this will help dramatically.
