i really dont think its going to be that bad.
i think obama will win, and him and his people will dance and sing and celebrate.
the republicans and independants will sit back, relax, and wait for the roof to collapse and pick up the pieces (the voters) once they (again, the voters) realize what a mistake they made.
so, based on what obama is about, 2012 is an easy republican win.

If Obama wins (less and less sure about my prediction he had it wrapped up) There will be elements of the Republican party who will do to Obama what the left has done to Bush for 8 years.
Me, I am just going to keep score. My predictions
Higher taxes for everyone making above 30 grand a year or so.
Higher gas prices. The offshore drilling ban will be renewed.
Military involvement in Africa
Republicans will be criticized for opposing Obama's first supreme court nominee on the basis of political ideology rather than the ABA rating by the very same Democrats who made the same case against Bushes picks.
Nationwide assault weapons ban will be reenacted.
National law elimination secret ballots for union elections

There is a lot of anger on both sides, and I do hope that all will calm down after the election, and, if nothing else, respect the office and the person who will be president, even if you adamantly oppose their position and the direction they wish to take the country.
Our democratic system works, and that includes the election process. We should respect that as well. Whoever is elected, it was by our democracy.
