I have scratched the glass!

same here... matter of fact, my lr today went tumbling down and scratched my acrylic

i dont know if you can get scratches out of glass.. i also have some on my glass tank.. but i have heard that you can get scratches out of acrylic, i believe theres a kit but i could be wrong....

you can not get scratches out of glass unless you pay a very high price to have them polished out. But you would have to tear down your entire tank . Acrylic you can -- not a fun process, but it can be done

on your new tank?? I worry about it too. We have a CC star who is a little bull dozer at times. We try not to go too high.

Cal,
You should be able to get a kit for the acrylic. Not sure if you need to drop the water level down below the scratch. For some reason I THINK its safe to use under water.
On the glass, pretty much nothing you can do, if its not drilled you might be able to turn it around and use the other side as the display side. A total pain, but an option.
