How big is your tank and what kinds are you trying to mix. In my 150 I have a Koran and Emporer mixed with no problems can not wait to see them in my 265 That is going to be freaking SWEET.

IME, this is another " it depends on the individual fish" situations. I agree completely with Sepulatian; a 125 is too small for 2 large angels, and very "iffy" for 2 small ones, especially dwarfs from the same genus. I've kept a large & a dwarf together several times, usually with excellent results. I would not recommend a dwarf and a juvi adult at the same time...might work, but the odds aren't as good (IMO) as a larger fish and a smaller one.

I had 2 dwarfs in my 55g for the longest time. I had a coral beauty and a flame and they were model citizens. I would never do it again though unless I had a bigger tank.

i have a 75 with about 125 lbs of live rock (lots of places to hide) and i have a potters, and an ebli's angel together..... i also have a perc, ans false perc together in there. all get along, so like mentioned before, depends on the individuals.

I have a big problem with everyone saying that compatablity is a yes or no answer. Everyone has had exceptions to the quote unquote golden rule. You should always know what genuss' will fight and keep them in appropriate tanks. The most important rule is to have options!!! You can add any fish to a tank and think nothing of it, but one of the existing fish beats the crap out of it which is against the rule that is given. So ideally you should have a tank set up in case there happens to be a real aggression issue. If your trying to keep fish that are known to be aggressive towards each other, than having another tank setup is essential. I have kept many fish that 'aren't supposed' to be kept together for long periods of time. I have also tried to add a fish to a tank that should be no problem whatsoever, but was not the case.
