I FOUND HIS LIAR IN MY 180 GALLON REEF FINALY,LOL.I TOOK THE ROCK AND SOAKED IT IN FRESHWATER FOR A FEW MINUTES AND HE CAME RUN'N OUT
..THE FIRST COUPLE OF PICS ARE HIM IN A TOPERWARE,THEN SOME OF HIM WITH NO WATER.THOSE PICS CAME OUT THE BEST
...THE LAST PIC IS HIM IN MY 10G WHERE IM GONNA KEEP HIM AND TAKE PICS TO SHOW YOU GUYS FOR NOW ON ***) ....

I that one of those mean shrimp, that is known to breaK glass??? If so, I saw one in a pet store recently, and it scared the poop out of me! It shot at me, really fast, and I let out this shrill scream, that my husband heard all the way at the front of the store!! (How embarrassing!!)

I'm totally fascinated with them. (If it's even the one I'm talking about!)

How long was that in your tank? He's a pretty good size. What livestock, if any, did you lose to him?

heres some pics from may 05 when i first found him in a piece of live rock..when i first found him ,i put him in a 10g.....then i said ahhhhh let me put him in my 180..wronggggggggggggggg..i had a huge dusky jawfish (5 inch) die for no reason..i think the jawfish might have went after the mantis when lights where out and wammmmmmmmmmmmmmm the mantis knocked the jawfish with its club

thats amazing, lucky you caught in in a 180 how long have you been trying ?

a few days,,i just had to wait till he was in his rock liar be4 i grabbed the rock

When He Was In My 180g I Never Saw Him..now That Hes In The 10g By Himself, I See Him All The Time ***) ..the Mantis Is A Wierd Interesting Creature
