I just witnessed my PomPom crabs mating

I can't believe it!
I went to feed the livestock in the nano and was checking everybody eating. First of the 2 PomPom's showed up and the second shortly after from other side of the tank. The second one is carrying bright orange eggs. They saw each other and attacked each other. I looked at the bundle of 2 bodies and lots of little legs and it was clear that they were not trying to kill each other, but were bottom-against-bottom. Food was flying by and they were both eating at the same time. Of course my camera was nowhere in sight. Perfect photo op lost

HA I got pics! I ran back upstairs with my camera and they were still at it. Not sure how good the pics turned out... food still in water column and dirty glass :) I'll upload later.

I love that they were eating too. I guess leaving mysis crumbs didn't get him kicked out of the sand eh!!!
