Exactly! Do our homework and make an informed decision;based on our own values of risk vs reward, and there is always risk. If some folks had their way, this hobby wouldn't exist; because it conflicts with THEIR value system. I'll bet that more Hippo Tangs were lost by "Nemo" fans in the 1st year following that movie; than by all the hobbyists, who did research, lost in 55 gal tanks during the last ten years. (Maybe an overstatement, but it makes the point.) I really think we're all on the same page, just different viewpoints--and that is what a "Forum" is all about!
