I know its to early BUT i wonder if my mom will have a cup of chear for the holidays?

Well most of you know that my mom is freaked out about snakes and wont let me get one
But i wonder, since christmas time is my mom favorite holday and she basically "santa clause" by giving us what we really want the most for the holidays
. I wonder if i ask her to get me a snake for christmas that she will actully get me one?????????????????????? :thinking: ?????????? People who are afraid of snakes or any other animals, would you give a animal that you are horrified of to some one in your family for christmas, knowing that its not harmful, if thats what they really wanted?? :thinking:

I have a 16 year old stepson & a 12 year old step daughter, and a 2 year old son.
My answer: HECK NO!!!!
When I was in highschool, I really really wanted a snake. Bought one...hid it in my room. My dad found it (in the cage) when I was gone to cheerleading & he FREAKED OUT!!!!!!!!
I would NOT suggest this method as I got in serious trouble & the snake had to go back to the pet store.
Just look at it this way...wait a few years until you're in college & out of the house & then you can get a job & get the EXACT snake you want!!!

OOhh, that's tough. If I new it was not poisonous, and you seemed to be a pretty responsible animal person then would I let my own fears keep you from it... :thinking:
Yeah, I probobly would, but not for reasons you may think. I would think you wanted one mostly to prove a point (that they are safe) and after a couple of weeks you'd be bored with it. And if you live with her, it's pretty disrespectful to ask her to bring something into her house that she is very afraid of when you can get your own, in your own place in a couple of years...
Nah, I don't think you'd get it but more importantly, I don't think you should ask...

....maybe you are right maybe i should wait untill college to get one. BUT WHEN I GRADUATE HIGHSCHOOL I'M PUTTING A SNAKE ON MY MOM!!!!!!!!!

And the snakes, well.......they scare the crap outta me. When I go the our little pet store to get our RO water, I walkaround the enitre store just to by pass the reptile area. He even had a ribbon eel escape his tank and was slithering all over the floor and I took off like a rocket.

oh, and a search on Vinnland proves to be very strange...... ***)
