Yes I can say i would and have done it for my son. He wanted a camen?? not shure how its spelled. But anyway its a small alagator that gets about 5 foot when full grown. I said ok to it his mom said no to the idea. So i asked him what else he wanted he said a snake so that is what he got for his fifth birthday. Good luck to ya Cartman101 hope you get it.
I will say this if you do get it dont force your mom to have anything to do with it such as holding it or watch it while it feeds. Let her warm up to it all on her own.

You authorized your son to get an alligator. Now, I love animals, even the exotic ones but an alligator?? Don't those things grow up and aren't they untameable?? An alligator!?!? :notsure:

The caymens only get 5' a friend of mine had one and i tell ya what it was alot tamer than his 15' reticulated python. That damn thing almost killed me. I just think thier are alot worse animals that people keep as pets than a 5' caymen.

There prolly are animals a lot worse and I would not want my kid getting one of those either, but an alligator?!?!?

I am ok with snakes (my daughter wants one too) the only reason I am saying no is because of which snake she wants and what you have to feed it.

I don't want to hear about "you can buy the frozen" kind.
I just have a really bad thing with going to the pet store and PICKING out someone to die!!
She of course wants a Boa.
Not gonna happen!!
