i know mandarins cant get ich....

i have heard(read) that mandarins cannot get ich...
first question: is this true?(dont worryi am not going to get a mandarin because i dont think that i could support it, im just curious)
second question: i AM thinking of getting a red scooter blenny, i think these are awesome... i know they are related to mandarins... are they also ich-free?

i have a lawnmower blenny that i swear is imuned to ick. he used to be in my 45 and i lost numerous fish to ick in that tank. he never showed any signs of ick, never saw any spots on him. now hes in my 30 reef, fatter and happpier than ever, ick free. i never did any treatments on him either.
