rule of thumb is that the tank should be 3 times the hight of the seahorse fully grown, the reason for this is the different areas of pressure at the different hights the seahorse uses the pressure to release gases in its body

Is this a posiblible reason for The Rock's air bubble? My set up is a 35 gal octagon.
male seahorses can create there own gas, they need pressure from the water depth to let these gases escape (flushing there pouch out). i know some might think im crazy because its not stated on some sites.
