I need a fish

I need a fish that is coldwater marine and able to live with seahorses. So far the only fish I can find that is even coldwater marine is the catalina goby...now I know that can't be the only fish in the great big ocean called the Eastern Pacific.
When I google to try and find such a creature I see things like the black dragon fish...

HELP!

If acclimated correctly, you can keep quite a few different ones. I kept firefish with my seahorses without any issues. I've seen some people keep fairy wrasses, and even one person who kept a dwarf angel with her seahorses. Most gobies can handle the colder water without much issue. It really comes down to the healthy of the specimen and how they're acclimated.

Wow...I kind of did the same thing with macros...I put some caulerpa prolifera in the 90g. I started with a few stands about 2 weeks ago and they still look healthy, so I added the macro that I harvested from the 56g today. Besides the codium and sargassum that go in a cold tank.
So basically if I understand you correctly, your saying any compatible seahorse fish, if acclimated very slow would be okay in the cold tank...

Yes. What is the temp that you plan on keeping the SH's in? If you look at most reefs, the temperature range is about 70-80, so as long as you keep things constant, water parameters good (both of which are needed for the horses anyways) and acclimate slowly, you're really fine.

UMMM...temp is 66 degrees. It does go up to 67 before the chiller kicks in....WAYYY below the norm for tropical fish.

I honestly wouldn't be too concerned. I kept my horse tank at 70 and didn't have issues with any of the fish I had with them. I would stay away from tangs, they like warmer water, but other than that, most small, peaceful fish that can go with horses would be fine. I think Teresa has kept a wrasse with her horses, not positive though, I know I've seen people keep fairies with them. Most gobies will work as well and so will most blennies.
My LFS has orange lined cardinals with their horses, it's a nice color contrast.

Thanks...maybe next month I will look into getting a fish. I like to have something eating the wasted food.

I have saltwater fish and alot of people use molies to cycle their salt tanks to get them going.
