I need a good tool to work a the bottom of the tank and manipulate objects with some degree of precision. IE spot feeding corals picking up small objects ect.
What do you use?

I have 3 tools.
The first is the scissor type…but it will fold onto itself if you grip too tight and hang up.
Second type is a long tool with a grip in the very end..it came with a scissor like implement to “garden” the tank.
Last, my most useful, it is a giant eye dropper with measures on it. I use it to spot feed and zap aiptasia. It extends from 12” to 36”
Here are pictures.

I just got online from my nap…I worked last night, so I didn’t see all the inquiries. Yes it is a sea squirt feeder, I paid $25.00 for it here in my area. Those scissor type grabbers are a useless pain…But better than nothing. The gripper works awesome. It was called some kind of “tank gardening tool”. It has a scissor for cutting and a gripper head that I can swap out. Very sturdy and works great. I feed my Starfish and my anemone when I had it, chunks of shrimp with it. LFS here carries them all.

i have all that stuff - and i actually get it from a hospital. My mother works in a hospital and they have a lot of sterile equipment that they don't use, so she brings it to me. It's wonderful. They throw it away, so stop by a hospital and get your hands on some! (Mine comes from the Mammography department, since they use those tools)

As in mamograms? If so, what for cryin' out loud does a 36" pair of tongs and mamograms have to do with each other
