I need an id on this green stuff please.

It has been growing pretty quick. If I need to get rid of it, what is the best way. It is the green in the center of the picture. Thanks in advance.

I believe it is Codium sp.

I don't know that much about this particular algae. It isn't a "nuisance" as some others like hair algae can be. I'd keep an eye on it and just prune it as necessary.

Thanks. I can research it now that I have an idea of what it is. I've been searching but could never find any pics that looked like it.
