I need blue zoos

I've tried to get blue zoos a few times now, but to no success. I just lost a bid on e-bay for $75 for 100 polyps. I just want a frag and I'll grow them myself, but they're crazy expensive :scared: and hard to find. Can anyone guide me, without breaking any rules to help get some. I don't really have anything to trade, unless you like brown or orange, so cash is my option.

I just seem some REALLY sexy zoos on this 'other website'... im sure you could eventually find them... so sexy. Heres a pic.

How bout' a hint? How much? If this website ever carried blues, I'd buy from them. I love the shipping and have bought a lot of fish from them..

I tell you.. i've also found another site yesterday that has some REALLY insanely nice zoos.. like the ones I posted here are complete TRASH compaired to this other site. The prices are about 40 dollars less too.. still higher than 50 dollars though... but I mean AMAZING rocks.. i'll try to get a pic... but they put their friggin name right though the middle of the pic so its kinda hard to edit that crap out :p

i will say that the reason you never see blue zoos is due to lighting.
i have never seen a blue zoo that really looked bright blue under anything less the 14k bulbs. forinstance i have three different blue zoos. under 20k bulbs they are glowing very bright blue. but under 10 k they look more deep purple. also most blue zoos are the small zoos. once you get your first super colored zoo you will find that they are in the stores. you just have to be able to tell what they will look like under proper lighting. i have zoos that i bought at the store that were boring brown. then i put them under good light when i get home and now they are very bright peach/pink. take for example the rock of zoos posted above. if you put that under 10k bulbs it will look NOTHING like that.

i have never been able to get a good pic since i got them due to the spot i put them in.
i can try to get some tomorrow when the lights come back on

Listen to what Oceana says though.. I think this holds true for a lot of different colors and such.. I know that I bought blue mushrooms from the LFS here and when I got home and put them in my lights... they were purple. I am really considering gettin some 20k or even 14k lighting happenin real soon.

here is the pick of the rock with the above zoos in my tank. you can kinda see them in the uper left corner. liek i said i will turn the rock and try to get you a better pick. under normal 10 k dayligh bulbs this same rock althought still looks very nice does not look even close to the same. the bright blues in the middle almost look black, and the greens look more hunter green in color. its all about the lights when it comes to zoos.
if you look at the fine print"or somtimes not so fine print" on just about every "rare" or super colored zoo site i have found they are always photographed under 20k bulbs

my metal halides are 20k, my pc lighting is (2) 50/50, and (2) ultra actnic bulbs. The pc's don't mention a spectrum. Should they? Maybe I'll have to get some of those beautiful zoos you have so I can compare..

Should 20k halide bulbs be blue-ish? Mine are white? I saw on another website they sold 12k bulbs and they looked like they were blue... :notsure:
