I need help from a creative type...

I have a lighting problem. I'm going to be setting up a 29 gallon reef tank and I already have a 150 reef optix pendant that I want to use but I don't feel that will be enough light or enough spread to cover the whole tank. I would like to come up with a way to use t-5s as well but I don't think that a normal canopy would work because they are pretty small. I'm also worried about a heat problem. Is there another way that I can set this up?

im not sure if the t-5;s will like this but cut the back of the canopy so its all open
get 2 small fans.. have on point in so the wind goes in and one point out. the one pointing out will suck the air out of the canopy..
just a thought. im not sure about the reast but ur t-5s will not put out the same quality output of light if the bulbs are running to hot or to cold so doing this right may be difficult

Thanks..I've been thinking about kind of making a fixture that I could hang above the tank to house the halide and the t5s. If I did do this what would be a good material to use? Should I just use wood like a canopy or would something else work better?

so its going ot be like a mini canopy for ur MH light tht hangs above the tank pendent style?
