Ok I got a 2 month old reef tank. And Iv got half of the reccomended cleaning crew and half the amount of live rock needed. It is a 150 gal. tank.
I bought a cleaner shrimp and when I got home I notice she had A TON of little greenish white eggs. WHAT DO I DO?? What short of breeding holder should I put the eggs in after she lays them? what products do you reccomend. How do I take care of the baby shrimps. ECT ECT please message ASAP :happyfish .

Trust me both of mine do it, dont bother breeding, unless you can find some really fine netting. leave them be, the eggs will hatch in a week and half, the larvae will float around at night, and b a feast for ur pods, and your nocturnal fish in the years to come. Just ignore it, if you want to try, all I know is to after the lights go out on the night they hatch, take a falshlight and bowl, turn off filter and Powerhead. Then scoop the larvae into the bowl when the are attracted to the light. Otherwise the larvae will be eaten or destroyed by powerheads. Simply ignore it. the shrimp can hold male sperm for years, and they will keep using it. so ignore it, however you could try an aquacultured cleanershrim buisness. Consider the spawning a sign of a healthy tank.

When they are ready, She will release them into the water were they will become food or traped in filters ect. Dont try to raise them. Its never been done unless you feel you might discover the trick.

Iv raised shrimps before. How does this work?
1. Turn off fliter (duh)
2. use my brine shrimp net and catch as many cleaner shrimps as possible
3. Try feeding the other fish (I only have 6 other fish so eating wont be too much of a problem)
The part I need help with is where do I put the srimp? should i put them in the floating breeder cages? should I keep them in the brine shrimp net until they are big enough for the floating cages. Or should I just put it in my 10 gallon tank. Any more ideas
