I dont think the penguin 350 biowheels have the capacity to break down the ammount of ammonia four damsels can put out without LR to back it up. its probbly hekping though. bio wheels arent super efficient, while they are definatky not useless they just dont have anywhere near the surface area that LR has.

I have to disagree with that. If properly established, the 350 wheels will provide enough biological filtration for EIGHT damsels.

Do I hear 10 damsels anyone, anyone. Going once Going twice.
One other note, if you put Live Rock in your tank that is not completely cured, you can make the levels in your tank even worse.
