I need new bulbls for my JBJ please help.

This is just a quick post on where to get bulbs for my jbj.
I have a 48 in w/4 65w bulbs. The bulbs are 4 prong. 2 are 10000K and the others are att. blue.
Whoe has the best prices on these? (besides SWF.com):D
I don't know many good sites like this one. I've done searches and found MANY sites, but I get fustrated with some of the sites if you know what i mean. I cant seem to find what I need on them.

There are two configurations on the pins. Do you have all four pins in a straight line or are they paired two above two?

Ryan; sounds like you have JBJ Formosa system. I have it too and have been starting to think about time to replace bulbs.
How long have you had your bulbs?
I'll be watching this post too to find the best place/price.
In looking over SWF.coms dry goods section I didn't see much in the way of lighting support so it shouldn't be unfair to them for others to post sources for light bulbs:confused:

I bought this thing used from someone a few months ago. He told me it was the latest jbj light fixture. I'm just now starting to think that it is not. my bulbs did not burn completely out. they just got dim over a period of time. I pulled each bulb out and noticed the pin configuration, and that something is loose in the bulb. Kinda like when you burn out a normal light. you can hear this little piece of metal slide up and down the bulb. I quess that means they are no good now.

My barand new bulbs had that same lose sound, don't worry about it. The dimming of the bulbs is the concern.
I have heard anything from 9 to 12 months recommended for replacements.
Havn't had to replace mine yet, glad you'll be doing the legwork:)

Hey Ryan if you can't find them anywhere let me know cause my lfs sells these lights. In fact I bought 2 of them today. I would get them and ship them to you if you can't find them anywhere.

Just for an update. the diming of my bulbs was due to the age. I got a new set from 7seas and my tank is as bright as ever.
