I Need Red!

Bright eye poppin' red. Looking for suggestions, please.
I want some Flame Angel red in my tank, but I can't put in a Flame 'cuz I already got a Pygmy.
Flame Hawk would be awesome, but they're too pricey, may eat shrimp and generally too big.
Fish, Invert, Coral - doesn't matter - I just want that color...
What else is that red?

You could always find a nice acan or mircomussa that has a brilliant red to it. Then though, you will be paying more than the flame hawk.
Even some red mushrooms could add a nice splash of color to your tank, though.

That is a good looking Alcyonium sp. Flower. How long have you had it? Do you feed Phytoplankton and Zooplankton?

For red - Chili coral
I was thinking about that. I got an overhang that a small one would fit into nicely.
I know they don't need much light, but they are heavy feeders from what I understand, no?
And same question Henry asked - whatchu feed it and more specifically how?
I've got Phyto, Zoo, and I just picked up some Oyster Feast today.

I am afraid my diamond goby buried it one day in sand while I slept. It must have clogged it up, it never recovered.
I had it for over a year, got it from SWF.com. I plan on getting another, I have a cave all set for it. It was indeed a beautiful coral. Yes I fed it refrigerated Phytoplankton and fed the tank Cyclops something I don’t remember now.

I'm definitely getting a Blood Shrimp. They're one of my favorites.
LFS had 4 a couple weeks ago. I decided to wait 'cuz the tank was still a bit new. Now they're all gone

My chili got big when it swelled, so a small overhang won't do, they need a lg overhang or cave. They swell up like an anemone, then shrink into a small tight fist.
The water has to flow over and around them, not just at them by pointing a power head that direction. I just fed the tank once a week with the phytoplankton and sometimes microvert. I should have attached it to the top of the cave, but I didn't, my goby was putting sand by it and I wasn't concerned, then one day he totally buried it.
I dug it out and gave it gentile shake but it was too clogged to live, it never came out of it..all drawn up into a tight little glob.
