I have posted about it before, and i got MANY people saying that they wanted him, but it didnt get any farther than that... I really do need a home for him, my tank is far too small... I live in Central Florida, and would be willing to sell, trade, or whatever for him..... PLEASE if you CAN take, him, please do.......Here are some pics..

He is aready starting to stress in my tank, it is far too small for such a fish, he needs at least a 75 gallon tank.....
Please, PLEASE respond to this if you can or know of someone or someplace that can take it....
Thank you,
Seth

why would you get a fish that you wouldn't be able to keep long term. OH yes I should get a panther grouper and when it gets too big I'll just trade him. I don't think that that is right. and I think that you need to learn a lesson to think before you buy.

it was a case of the employee at the petshop saying "its full grown"...and then him coming home and reasearching it. Yes he bought before he researched, but we all do that.

This really isn't a place to bash other enthusiusts, the point is he realized his mistake and opposed to just letting the fish die he's trying to find him a new home. Good luck!

If I could find somewhere that tells me how to definitively --- a batfish, I would take him off of you in a second. My orbicularis that I have now is definitely a female because she has laid eggs in the past. If I could find some way to determine male from female, and know that yours was a male, I would take him.

So if I get a Panther Grouper and once it gets too big I would just post it here and someone will get it off my hands. Will You(gdavies) buy it off of me?

Martin, Seth has learned his lesson from the original time when he posted about getting a batfish. No need to rehash the same topic of discussion. Seth is doing a good thing by trying to get it in another tank where the fish is more suitable.

i would...and seth's bat has another year or so, and he just bought it like last month...i guess he can just flush it down the toliet, tell him to make his first left and head 2.4 miles, turn right and your set for the ocean??? your a good guy man, i dont mind helping you out with other topics, yes he didnt do his research, but when he brought it home and making a thread, everyone making fun of him, and himhaving to give it away is enough punishment IMO

I'm not making fun of him. I just think that it's not right. Well, I guess it happens to everyone, with fish and with anyother type of animal. Oh well.

Hes just about 1 1/2" x 3" .... And yes, i would ship, i really dont know how to (never done it) and also, for some reason, i had to get the little wimp of the Batfish (lol) and hes not that hardy... I once gave him a FWD, and he almost died... But he may live the trip there, i would sell him for $20 and i dont even know what shipping is or how i would do it (remember, im only sixteen, and dont do mass amounds of import/export stuff....) hahaha....
...... But yeah, i would LOVE to hand him over to you, but how big of a tank do you have? Everywhere says differnelty, but no number is less thatn 120 gal.s...... Just let me know
