I never was very good at managing my money...

So I headed off to a new LFS store today just as I am in the middle of cycling my 29 gal, just to see what the store had. Why I was there I saw that they had a 55 Gal with oak stand and hood w/light for 249! I was just thinking about how I wished that I would have gone with the 55 before I set-up my 29, but decided it was too late to do anything now. Anyway, I walked out of the store with the new tank and about 150$ in other new stuff. I guess the new tank could maybe be a QT (which i didn't want to do). Right ow it is empty, as i took all the water out to get the sand for the 55. Right about now my new 55 is a horrible mess of a sandstorm, which never happened with the 29?? No sure what that's all about?!?
Anyway, I guess I'm officially hooked now and I might as well throw out the old wallet...:help:

Why not plumb the 29 into the 55. Then use the 29 as a fuge tank or a mangrove tank?
FWIW - I have a 29 mostly softy tank that I kept very inexpensive. (It was an eclipse that I modified to have PC lighting and a Prizm skimmer) It's almost as neat as the 75 I have in the livingroom.

Yeah, I'm not real sure as to the future of the 29 yet. Maybe a quarantine tank? Right now it's in my dining room with just a little bit of sand and water left in it. The 55 is doing great though...the LR should be here tomorrow!
